I have never used skip neither on 1.0 or 2.0, I’m not sure about others so I thought to put this for sharing thoughts and making use of the existence of swipe down for something else?

Would you sacrifice the existence of skips or like the option of having customization to use other feature with the same gesture that would have more use?

In vertical mode you have the option to configure the swipe action, you can choose Dislike or Skip, if this is what you meant.
